The Bait + Sell Depot, or Bait Shop, is a shop that both sells bait refills and purchases fish from the player for money. The shop takes the form of a number of dirt mounds scattered around the map featuring a painted "SELL + BAIT" sign. Upon interacting with the mound, the fox shopkeeper will pop out of the ground, and the shop interface will open.

Note that the costs given are for a full bait restock, restocking with bait left will cost only a percentage of the max cost proportional to how much bait is left.

Selling items
All fish, coin bags, and Metal Detector loot can be sold to the shop for their labelled value. For fish, this value depends on the fish's average value, size, and quality, and for coin bags, it depends on the player's rod luck stat.
Trivia
- Since bait restock cost depends on the percentage of bait left multiplied total restock cost, rounded up, the price per unit of bait decreases as the player's bait capacity is increased.
