Metal Detector

The Metal Detector is a tool that allows the player to find buried treasure. Items that can be found with the metal detector include Buttons, Old Coins, Soda Tabs, Rusted Rings, and Casings. Metal Detectors can also find pieces of Gold Watches, Gold Monocles, Top Hats, and Swords, which can be used to buy these items at the Dock Shop.

Use

If a player with the Metal Detector equipped gets close to buried treasure, a small red light begins blinking over the player's head and a beeping noise starts to play. The blinking light gets faster and the beeping noise gets faster and higher pitched as the player gets closer. When the player gets close enough, a small dirt mound appears. Interacting with this mound allows the player to dig up the treasure.
