Tools are a type of item that the player can use to perform actions in the game.
Fishing Rods
Fishing rods are tools the player can use to catch fish. Upon starting a new game, the player will only have the Simple Fishing Rod, but more rods can be unlocked through Journal completion or finding secrets, and can be purchased for money. Fishing rods are solely cosmetic; increased Fishing#Rod stats are obtained via purchase in the Fishing Store.
