A player using the Spectral Rod

The Spectral Rod is a secret rod obtainable by finding collectable Spectral Bones around the map. Only the appearance of the rod is changed, it does not give any advantages over any of the other Rods. It can be purchased for $500 from the Spectral Hand once all five bones have been found.

Locations

The five Spectral Bone locations.

To access most spectral bone locations, the player will need to make use of blue Jump Mushrooms.

• 

  Spectral Skull: Located east of the dock shop, on top of the ledge.

• 

  Spectral Rib: Located west of the dock Shop, on top of the ledge.

• 

  Spectral Femur: Located to the north of the map, beside the river and behind a bush.

• 

  Spectral Humerus: Located above the Spectral Spine, at the very north-west point of the map.

• 

  Spectral Spine: Located North of the Lighthouse, beneath where the Spectral Humerus is located. Requires the player to either jump across a series of small rocks, or simply jump down from above.

Spectral Hand

Upon collecting the fifth spectral bone, the player will receive the message "you feel an otherworldly force beckon you..." in the chat. The Spectral Hand can be found behind a waterfall and acts as a shop, where the player may exchange Spectral bones for a cosmetic rod.
